You may have some questions about what you can expect on a Sunday morning at our church. So, we have tried to anticipate what those are and have done our best to answer them here:
While our service starts at 11 am on Sundays, our doors are open about an hour before. So you can come early if you want, and find your bearings. An usher or greeter will be pleased to show you where everything is. Just ask us!
Running late? That happens! Though we don’t want you to miss out on enjoying the whole service, you are most welcome to come, even if you’re a bit late. Come on in and participate with us – God understands, and He loves you!
We do respect your time, and our service usually ends between 12:00 and 12:15 p.m. On the first Sunday of each month, we celebrate communion, a symbolic reenactment of Jesus’ Last Supper with his disciples. Often after the service we have “Fellowship” – an opportunity to meet, talk, and share some refreshments together.
We welcome everyone, and we’re very relaxed, so please feel free just to come as you are. You don’t have to dress up for church, though it’s certainly fine if you do; you can come in casual clothes, like jeans and a T-shirt, and will be welcomed warmly.
Got family? We work to ensure that people of all ages can enjoy our church family’s corporate worship of God. There is a nursery for infants throughout the service, and a children’s programme for young children, which starts after the “children’s story” part of the service. Teens are encouraged to stay in the service with the adults, except when we have special programmes for them from time to time. We work to ensure that the service is engaging for all ages.
